Expressing what I experience in my own visual language.
Always thinking 'why' before the design.
shane [says] is more than just a graphic design studio; it is a personal dialogue with the world and an ongoing archive of observations woven into a single, cohesive voice. My perspective was shaped during a period of isolation at the age of fifteen. In that silence, I learned the art of quiet observation. But the true spark for my passion came from a simple moment of connection: "Jane says." When I saw how my friend Jane and others interpreted the same visual in completely different, beautiful ways, I was captivated. It wasn’t about finding a single "correct" answer; it was about the thousands of unique voices that can emerge from a single point of view. This intersection—where my vision meets yours—is the very reason I fell in love with design. This is why my brand is named [says]. Whether through the rigid grids of editorial design or the fluid dynamics of a visual system, I strive to record and redefine the stories around me. I am an observer and a recorder, 'saying' what I see through my own visual language and inviting the world to interpret it in its own way. This is my way of understanding the world, and this is my voice reaching out to you.
